Areas: Northeast Plains; Northeast Highlands; Central Highlands; East Central Plains

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE NORTHEAST PLAINS, NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS, CENTRAL HIGHLANDS, AND EAST CENTRAL PLAINS... .Dry westerly winds combined with low humidity will increase the threat of rapid fire spread in eastern New Mexico on Thursday afternoon.
