A few gusty showers may enhance wind gusts during the early afternoon as well. Fuels are at near average dryness for this time of year, but the rapid drying of fine fuels such as grasses is likely given the low humidity. * AFFECTED AREA...Northeast Plains (Zone 104), Northeast Highlands (Zone 123), Central Highlands (Zone 125), and East Central Plains (Zone 126). * TIMING...From Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening. * 20 FOOT WINDS...West winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum relative humidity between 10 and 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly.
