* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Bergen, Essex and Passaic. * WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 315 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Rapid river rises have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.3 inches are expected over the area.
